1/3 c water
1/2 c cornstarch
1/4 c cold water
food coloring (optional)
Mix salt and 1/3 c water over medium heat stirring occasionally for 3-4 minutes.
Remove from heat; add cornstarch and cold water.
Add a few drops of food coloring if desired.
Mixture will resemble mashed potatoes.
Stir til it thickens, cool then knead on board or counter top.
Store unused clay in fridge in sealed container.
(Note: After I followed the instructions, it was still really runny... I cooked it a bit more and the consistency improved.)
